How to navigate financial uncertainty

As the title says, I'm not too keen on trusting my country's financial institutions. It's not unheard of for banks to freeze accounts for little or no reason, leaving people with no access to their hard-earned money.

I do keep some savings in fiat, as this subreddit generally recommends, but I'm not particularly interested in allocating much more than I already have. At the same time, with the whole "don't put all your eggs in one basket" mindset, I'm hesitant to go all-in on BTC.

What's the opinion of the more seasoned Bitcoin holders here?
