21 Million Bitcoin will end Banks creating money out of thin air

Now banks aren't even required to have reserve deposits!

In the United States, as of December 2025, the required reserve ratio for depository institutions (including commercial banks, savings banks, credit unions, and others) is 0%.

The Federal Reserve Board set reserve requirement ratios to zero percent effective March 26, 2020, in response to economic conditions, and this policy remains in effect with no announced plans to reinstate them.
